Cindy Pallatino and Kelly Schaub of Saddle Rock GC defeated Robin Elbardawil of Meridian GC and Kim Ware of Englewood GC 5 and 4. On the front nine the match went back and forth, but Schaub and Pallatino built momentum to later end the match on the 14th hole. At the previous team CWGA Championship this month, Schaub and Elbardawil partnered to win the Brassie Championship but found themselves as opponents at Pine Creek GC. Schaub captured the Mashie Championship in 2005 with partner Mayumi Motoyama.
To reach the Championship match, Schaub and Pallatino came through as the second seed. However, Elbardawil and Ware defeated the number one seed and five-time Mashie Champions Christie Austin and Janet Moore, both of Cherry Hills CC, on the 18th hole in the second round to get to the finals.
