The Rolling Hills Country Club team finished strong to win the CGA State Club Team championship. The two-day event was held at Canterberry Golf Course on Saturday, then concluded at Heritage Eagle Bend on Sunday. The teams were mad up of three players, with the best two scores of the three counting toward the team score each day. Scott Radcliffe and Bill Fowler of the Rolling Hills Country Club combined for a one-under 141 in the final round to give Rolling Hills a two-day total of 286 and an eight-stroke victory. They were the only team to come in under par on the final day to seal the victory. Pinehurst Country Club and the #2 team from Meadow Hills Golf Course tied for second at 294, two stokes in front of the fourth place team from Collindale Golf Course.
