The Colorado Golf Association raised $11,980 on Colorado Gives Day from generous donors across the state. Donations supported various programs at the CGA including the Solich Caddie and Leadership Academy, Hale Irwin Elite Player Program and the Community & Wellness Programs. The CGA would like to thank the many donors who supported the effort.
For those still interested in giving back to the game you love, the Vidanta Resorts Vacation Raffle is available for one more week only. Two lucky winners will receive a stay and play package along with transportation & food & beverage credit at one of three luxury resorts in Mexico courtesy of Vidanta Resorts and the CGA. The raffle will end on December 13th with winners selected the following day at the annual CGA board meeting.
CGA VIDANTA RESORTS MEXICO RAFFLE
- Thanks to a donation from Vidanta Resorts, the CGA is raffling off TWO Grand Prize Mexico Vacations. Two lucky winners will receive the following package courtesy of Vidanta Resorts and the CGA.
- Raffle tickets cost $25 each, and for every four tickets purchased, the purchaser receives a complimentary fifth entry.

All the proceeds from the raffle and Colorado Gives Day benefit numerous programs such as CGA Community and Wellness Programs, the Solich Caddie & Leadership Academy and the Hale Irwin Elite Player Program.
Community & Wellness Programs – The CGA builds partnerships with community-based organizations and schools to put clubs into the hands those who may not otherwise have the chance to benefit from all this great game has to offer. This fall the CGA will be visiting Rock Canyon High School, Side Creek Elementary, and McAuliffe Manual Middle School as part of the golf in schools program. Additionally, our community programs benefit partners such as Boy Scouts, Big Brothers Big Sisters, and Special Olympics. Your ticket purchase will help us expand our reach and teach the principles of competition, ethics and etiquette.
Solich Caddie & Leadership Academy – Founded in 2012 at CommonGround Golf Course, the Academy creates opportunities for young people to develop leadership skills and enhance character through a foundation built around caddying.
Hale Irwin Elite Player Program – The program is designed to identify junior golfers in Colorado with determination, drive and passion for the game of golf and enhance their skills by granting them FREE access to CommonGround Golf Course and the practice facilities.
