The Colorado team finished 10th for the third consecutive year in the Morse Cup portion of the Pacific Coast Amateur.
The team representing the CGA posted a 10-over-par 154 total on Wednesday (its best two scores from the three-man squad) to end up at 305 overall at Seattle Golf Club (left).
Southern California, at 4-under-par 284, won the Morse Cup, which features 15 teams from the western U.S. and Canada.
While the Morse Cup competition is completed, two additional rounds of individual play remain.
Nick Nosewicz of Aurora, winner of the 2015 CGA Match Match, leads the way for the Colorado, going 73-77 for a 6-over-par 150 total, which leaves him in 38th place individually. Jon Lindstrom of Broomfield (78-78–156) is 68th overall, the same as University of Denver golfer Chris Korte of Littleton (79-77).
KK Limbhasut of Thailand remained the individual leader, carding scores of 68-69 for a 7-under-par 137 total and a four stroke lead.
