Colorado Golf Hall of Famer Kim Eaton added another accomplishment to her resume on Thursday by winning the Women’s Trans National Four-Ball Championship with Leigh Klasse.
Eaton and Klasse, both of whom call Arizona home, carded rounds of 65-69-66 for a 13-under-par 200 total and a three-stroke victory at the Wigwam Resort in Litchfield Park, Ariz.
The two overcame defending champions Corey Weworski and Mary Kay Zordani, both Californians, among others. Weworski and Zordani likewise closed with a 66 and finished three strokes behind Eaton and Klasse.
Eaton, a three-time quarterfinalist at the U.S. Senior Women’s Amateur, is a six-time CWGA Senior Player of the Year.
