Ben Lanting of Bear Creek Golf Club remained in the top 30, and Jordan Gibbs of Denver Country Club moved up 10 spots Saturday at the National Car Rental Assistant PGA Professional Championship in Port St. Lucie, Fla.
Lanting, the Colorado PGA’s 2018 Associate Player of the Year, fired a 1-over-par 73 and will go into the final round of the event in 29th place at 2-over-par 218. The 25-year-old Lakewood resident carded three birdies and four bogeys on Saturday. He played his final four holes in 2 under par.
Gibbs managed an even-par 72 to check in at 220, in a tie for 41st place. He made three birdies and three bogeys in round 3.
Kenny Pigman of Norco, Calif., leads the tournament with a three-day total of 9-under-par 207.
