The six Coloradans who qualified last month in Vail for the U.S. Women’s Mid-Amateur face a change of schedule.
Contestants in the Women’s Mid-Am were notified Tuesday by the USGA that the championship is being postponed due to the effects of Hurricane Irma.
The tournament was scheduled for Oct. 7-12 at Quail Creek Country Club in Naples, Fla., but officials determined that the course won’t be ready for the Women’s Mid-Am on the dates planned.
New dates for the event haven’t yet been determined.
