Frost Creek will be the host of this year’s CGA Parent/ Child Championship coming up June 3-4.  The tournament is open to male and female members of the CGA, CWGA, and Colorado Section of the PGA and their children or grandchildren.  Teams can consist of mother/daughter, mother/son, father/son or father/daughter pairings.  The registration deadline is May 24.  To sign up, click here.

Opened in 2015, Frost Creek features an 18- hole championship golf course designed by Tom Weiskopf.  Since then, Weiskopf has rearranged challenging spots to make the course more navigable for the whole family.  His designed emphasizes the surrounding landscape and was designed into the surrounding terrain.  The Brush Creek Valley location allows for Frost Creek to have two very different landscapes on a single course: a high desert alpine front nine and a river valley back nine.  Frost Creek is known for being a quiet and peaceful getaway.  Unlike most other courses in the area, Frost Creek is removed from I-70, so it is far quieter and gives the feeling of seclusion, while only being minutes to all the area’s activity.  Frost Creek is quickly become known across the country for its, “combination of breathtaking scenery, meticulous maintenance and creative challenge, results in a celebrated round of golf that inspires awe in even the most seasoned players.”
