At the Web.com Tour first-stage qualifying tournament in St. George, Utah this week, players have to go low or go home.
There’s already been a 59 shot — by Denver’s James Love (pictured) in round 1 (READ STORY) — and just to be in the top 25 after three days, at least 11 under par is required.
With the top 24 finishers and ties after Friday’s final round advancing to stage 2 of the three-stage Q-school process, Love shares second place at 18-under-par 195 after posting a five-birdie 67 on Thursday. He trails leader Alex Kim of Fullerton, Calif., by two.
Riley Arp of Fort Collins is 13th at 199 after a 69 that featured an eagle, five birdies, three bogeys and a double bogey.
