A week after going to the quarterfinals for the fourth time in the U.S. Senior Women’s Amateur, Colorado Golf Hall of Famer Kim Eaton lapped the field in winning the Arizona Women’s Golf Association State Amateur Seniors Championship at Elephant Rocks Golf Course in Williams, Ariz.
Eaton, who last month won the open-age-division championship in the AWGA State Amateur Stroke Play, on Wednesday prevailed by a whopping 24 strokes. She posted rounds of 70-73-70 for a 213 total.
Eaton has now won a dozen AWGA championships in her new home state to go along with 22 CWGA titles and one in California.
