Jordan Jennings of Montrose finished third out of a field of 88 Sunday in the boys 12-13 division for the Optimist International Junior Golf Championships in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.
Jennings shot rounds of 72-71-76 for a 3-over-par 219 total that left him six strokes behind champion Eric Doyle of San Diego.
Also placing in the top 20 in their division at the international event were Katelyn Lehigh of Loveland and Sofia Choi of Littleton, who were 13th and 18th, respectively, out of 38 competitors in the girls 10-12 tournament.
The tournaments for older boys and girls will be held this week and next week in Palm Beach Gardens.
