James Love of Denver, the native of Canada who played his college golf at the University of Denver, posted his best finish since 2009 on PGA Tour Canada, aka the Mackenzie Tour, on Sunday at the SIGA Dakota Dunes Open in Saskatoon.
Love, winner of the 2009 Canadian Tour Championship, posted rounds of 70-63-68-67 for a 20-under-par 268 total, which left him three strokes behind champion Max Rottluff.
Another Coloradan, Michael Schoolcraft, also recorded a top-20 finish Sunday as he placed 19th after carding rounds of 71-67-68-70 for a 276 total.
