Inverness Golf Club – Meadow Hills captured the two-day CGA Club Team Championship with solid play from three of the top area amateurs. The tournament was scored in a college format in which the team score each day was the total of the best two scores of the three team members. Meadow Hills, who was lead by individual Medallist John Lindstrom (71-69–140), carded a second day total of two-under 138 to take home the title. Along with Lindstrom, USGA State Team member Dean Clapp carded a second round 69. Clapp finished the Championship in seventh place (75-69–144). 2003 CGA Public Links runner-up Brian Richmeier rounded out the team for Meadow Hills in a tie for 17th (77-71–148). Rolling Hills Country Club and The Meadows Golf Club tied for second place honors carding two-day totals of 288, eight over par. 2003 CGA Mid Amateur runner-up Bill Fowler of Rolling Hills finished the Championship in second place, one stroke off the pace of Medallist John Linstrom. Fowler finished at one-over (71-70–141). Joe Brady paced The Meadow firing a two-day total of five-over (73-72–145).
