The CGA 2003 championship season officially got underway with the CGA Net Four-Ball Tournament at Englewood Golf Course. The team of Jerry Holder and Jim Mulstay fired a net 62 the first day, and backed it with a net 63 in the final round to win their second consecutive Open Division title with a net 125 total. Steve Menikheim and Don Figgins teamed up for a 128 to finish in a tie for second place with 2000 and 2001 champions Tim Rudden and Carroll Moore. The 1999 champions, Aaron Kellough and Kyle Snyder, took fourth place at 131.
In the Senior Division, Phil Viseur and Merril Hval teamed up for a net 121 to earn a one-stroke victory over Lee Rosa and William Frick. William Peterson and Lowell Hegg finished third at 127, one stroke ahead of the teams of Gary Elm and Dana Elm, and Mark Achziger and Rob Baldwin, who tied for fourth at 128.
